Charge cooler modified

The charge cooler has had female bungs welded in to house the air temperature sensors.
We have also just received some ally piping to link the supercharger to the water-air charge cooler.

Header tanks are in!

We have decided to go for a unique look and have our reservoir tanks all attached in one bracket. It will also allow for very nice, and very clean fuel/ coolant line runs.

Again another beautiful piece of artwork crafted by Mr. Bob Hall at Concept Racing.

The rad’s are back!

Modifications:
•The inlet and outlet of the charge cooling rad have been changed to male -12 fittings.
•The original mounting brackets have been changed to one large plate on either side for extra strength.
•Female bungs have been welded in either sides of both rad’s for determining water temperature differences across the rads.
•A Bung has been welded into the charge cooler (identical to the engine cooler) for temperature sensing.

Front and rear side panels moulded

Took a quick trip to the Oxford and Cherwell Valley College composites department this morning to check out the progress of our body moulds. The front and rear side pods are coming along nicely. The components have been modeled and are mid way through being moulded so they can be replicated in carbon fiber.

These are the original door hinges. We have weighed them in at 3.6 kg’s. Now for some modification…
